1.)       I read abut the layout of iMovie and its tools and features. The articles are in depth on how to insert, edit, and modify clips, images, and sound effects. I learned about stabilizing footage, controlling the FPS, how to import video, ad many more things. iMovie has a simple, self explanatory layout, and with a little digging and time, the program is easy to master.       iMovie is the default video editing application for Apple, one of the apps included with your macbook or apple product. Not only movies can be created though, as they have a large selection of themed trailer presets, where all you have to do is insert videos or pictures in an already made layout. You can also apply themes to movies, but the default option is no theme. 2.) I already knew about the themed trailers included in iMovie. 3.) Huntington story

On Wednesday at ten pm, 53 year old Janice Jones was accidentally shot in the leg by a handgun. She was eating dinner in her mobile home in Barstow, California when her gun was knocked over, causing it to discharge.  The circumstances of how the gun went off are what make this a truly bizarre accident. Tombo, Jones's Pomeranian jumped from a chair, knocking over her 9mm handgun, causing it to fall to the floor and discharge upon impact. "The bullet went through Jones's leg and through the side of the vehicle," said Rye. However, the bullet nearly hit the gas tank, which could have turned a bad situation worse. "Jones was transported to Huntington Beach hospital by ambulance and was later transported to Irvine Medical Center," Said Rye.  While Jones was hospitalized, the police found multiple law violations at her home. In March of 2018, Katie Johnson won Bowie Student of the Month, a highly esteemed award gifted by the staff here at Bowie. Katie's hard working attitude and hours of studying are what lead her to receiving this award. However, a deeper look into Katie's habits give us all the reasons for her winning this award. "I try to do homework in school so I have a lot of free time outside of school," freshman Katie Johnson said. Katie enjoys a few of her core classes and works hard in them so that she's able to focus on her favorite part of school, getting to see her friends.  "I enjoy some core classes but not all of them," Katie said. Katie has all straight A's and she takes all Pre-AP classes, her favorite being her math class with Algebra 1 teacher, Michael Warner.  "She's  delightful student to have and she's always helping those who are struggling around her," Warner said.
