Shutterbug Websites

https://www.diyphotography.net

DIY Photography is a basic how-to website along with some articles on new up-and-coming ideas and producers relating to photography. They have reviews, tutorials, news, an recommended gear to buy, making a well rounded photography based website. The average viewer will get pulled into a couple articles and probably end up learning more than they intended to. Personally, I wouldn't recommend the site or bookmark it, but thats just because I don't have an overwhelming interest in the site or a particular need for the information on there. On a scale of 1-5 I'd give this website a 4 because it does cover all it[s bases with what a website like this should have, but the lost point is because I couldn't see myself using it more than once or twice realistically.

I learned what Ello was through an article on how it's supposedly going to replace Instagram. The cover picture was very pretty as well, so I was inclined to click and learn more about it. The article itself goes on to bash Instagram and Facebook for turning into 'marketing monsters' and then endorses a new social media platform, hello, that is ad-free. personally, I don't see the point of joining this smaller platform, because what's the point of a social media platform if no ones ever heard about it or is talking about it? The whole concept behind social media is that you can digitally get in touch with thousands of people regardless of the distance, but if no ones on it, who are you getting in touch with?
