I really liked these images because of the contrast of soft and stark, the curves and the lines. The soft curves of the humans and their shadows and the straight lines of the wood in the pole and window contrast well. I liked the top picture, the succulent, because of the sharpness, with every crease shadow and line defined. What I liked about the middle photo though was the lack of definition and the fuzzy edges which gave it a soft and light tone.

What equipment will we use to take this type of image? We will be using a tripod and a DSLR camera 3. What is the reason someone might take an HDR image? So that we can accurately capture the lights and darks in an image, making it similar to what the eye can see. 4. What can we expect to happen with the images once we merge them together, what will we see that we might not have seen with just one photo? We will see the different levels of light and dark, being able to make out things that we wouldn't have been able to with just a singular picture.
