1. Where is one place on the internet you might go to better prepare yourself for the location you are shooting at? Google Maps to scout out the location. 2. What is one app you might download to help you when trying to pick the best angle to take landscape photos? Photographer's Ephemeris 3. What is the biggest problem shooting with a zoom or telephoto lens? A wide-angle lens often distorts at least part of all panoramas, making the sequence harder to stitch together. 4. Instead of using the HDR method you learned in my class, what is another technique the website suggest would be acceptable for compensating for sky and ground? Raw processing software sich as Lightroom 6, which can help reclaim highlights and shadows. 5. List three things you should always carry in case of bad weather. A strong waterproof plastic bin-bag, Microfiber towel, and cleaning cloths. 6. Why would pre-scouting help you when shooting? Pre-scouting can help you find new and more original views and perspecti

Merger Photo Preview

1. Is there something you see in the photo above that you think could be a problem when you take your photos? Look carefully. I'd have to be careful about shadows and where they would interfere with other pictures, since the shadow of the fourth girl is cut off by the third girl's legs. 2. Where do you think would be a great place to take this type of picture here on the Bowie campus? A good place to take these pictures would be in front of a wall or something else that doesn't move which would then cute blurriness and ghosts in the pictures. like trees or people walking. 3. Can you think of something creative to actually DO in the photo when you take yours? I could have a fight scene where I fight myself and copies of myself look on cheering or trying to stop the fight, Or I could have a line up of different hairstyles on me wit multiple see profiles. 4. Is there something you could wear that would help you when you do this photo? I can just wear a basic outfit with a fe

HDR Preview

1. What manipulations to the camera will you need to make to create an HDR image? You need to take several pictures both above and below the correct exposure. 2. What equipment will we use to take this type of image? We will be using a tripod and a DSLR camera 3. What is the reason someone might take an HDR image? So that we can accurately capture the lights and darks in an image, making it similar to what the eye can see. 4. What can we expect to happen with the images once we merge them together, what will we see that we might not have seen with just one photo? We will see the different levels of light and dark, being able to make out things that we wouldn't have been able to with just a singular picture.

Final Exam Planning

1. When will you shoot this assignment? A to be determined weekend when I dye my hair. (within this month) 2. Where will you shoot? At the hair salon (with permission) where I'll get my hair dyed, as well as wherever I go before and after. 3. What will you be documenting or telling your "story" about? I' thinking about making this story one about me getting my hair cut and dyed. 4. What equipment needs will you have to get this finished? A tripod at most, I already have my own DSLR camera as well as a GoPro I can use. 5. Make sure to describe the process, by this I mean, where will you use the video portion, where will you use still images, where will your narration be, etc? Im thinking I will use still images periodically throughout the movie, with three main bits of regular video before, during, and after where I will narrate the process. Im debating the idea of a time lapse of the whole process, using a go pro for the normal videos and pictures.

Personal Essays

1.) Use something you're passionate about, something you can elaborate on and get excited about. 2.) Include the readers in the experiences you write about, and don't set them aside as observers. 3.) Use a hook to capture the audiences attention, make connections, and personal perspective, nut don't over use it.       If you dress provocatively or drink too much you're asking for it, right? This is a justification made by men and women alike to justify the actions and attempts at sexual harassment, assault, and rape. Rape culture, the social concept of rape or sexual assault and harassment, is being normalized and desensitized through the media and pop culture.       We need to start teaching our children the basic respect that they should have for each other as humans. It's to late for us to really change how we think as a society, but what we can recognize our flaws and pass down how we wish we would act to our future generations.       Instead of instructi
